About Ann Thomas Speech and Language Therapist...I qualified as a speech and language therapist in 1990, working full-time in the NHS in west London until July 2005. I now work full-time as an independent Speech and Language Therapist. Throughout my career I have worked with primary and secondary aged children and young people who attend mainstream schools, as well as with younger, pre-school children. I have a wide experience and knowledge of social and education issues in relation to children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication difficulties. I am also experienced in providing training to parents, school staff and other professional groups. I aim to work jointly with parents, school staff and other relevant agencies to support children and young people in reaching their social and academic potential. I am able to travel to clients’ homes and / or schools in W4, W6,W12 and W14. Other local areas will be considered. Some evening / weekend sessions are available. I am a registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT), the Health Professions Council (HPC) and the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP). I am committed to continuing my professional development. © A. Thomas / August 2005 - 2008 |
